It is no doubt that 2020 was an unprecedented year. At Zurn, we knew it was crucial to find ways to promote the health and safety of our associates, while engaging them in wellness activities and supporting the livelihood of our surrounding communities in which we live and work.
With the development of COVID-19 vaccines, we wanted to help in the effort toward vaccine accessibility and distribution in our community.

On April 12, 2021 Zurn associates volunteered at the Wisconsin Center, Milwaukee's FEMA Mass Vaccination Clinic location.
Our associate volunteers played important roles in making sure more than 2,500 shots were administered that day.  They directed community members to the next available staff member who would administer their vaccine; assisted community members with mobility challenges in navigating the vaccination site; and guided community members post vaccination to a number of areas, including waiting room to be monitored 15-minutes prior to departure and the exit.

Our history is rooted in the protection of people’s health and safety, and we know how important it is to continue the legacy not only in the workplace but in our communities as well.
