Zurn $1Million Pledge Update
In early 2020, Zurn identified an opportunity to support communities through our hygienic solutions to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Zurn’s vision has always been to provide the safest and most efficient water solutions to protect human health and the environment,” says Craig Wehr, President of Zurn.
With that vision in mind, we pledged to provide $1 million in hygienic product donations to qualifying recipients currently addressing COVID-19. Since the pledge in March 2020, we have provided products to community organizations and healthcare facilities across the United States and Canada, including recipients such as the Boys and Girls Club and the Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center.
Faith Ministries in New Milford, CT, for example, houses both a daycare and K12 school, as well as church on a weekly basis. With the donation from Zurn, Faith Ministries was able to serve over 4,000 people from the community and their families in a safe environment.
“The fire department uses our facility, the police department uses our facility when they have big events – so all sorts of people are coming through here. To know that we are able to make our facility safe by making it touchless is a big, big deal,” said Frank Santora, Lead Pastor of Faith Ministries.
We will continue to find ways to help facilities upgrade to a touchless environment, further helping to promote community health and hygiene.
